Central Group, in collaboration with the Royal Thai Army and network partners, brings smiles to children in southern border provinces and other provinces by giving gifts filled with care, encouragement, and opportunities, as part of the 14th year of the "Million Gifts Million Smiles" project. This is also the 3rd year in a row that the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) has partnered on this effort.

Central Group invites Thai people to participate in delivering New Year's and Children's Day gifts and providing scholarships for poor children in southern border provinces and other provinces through 3 main channels: giving scholarships through the Equitable Education Fund (EEF), delivering new gifts through drop-off locations, and donating money. The timeframe of participation is from now to December 31, 2023.

Busaba Chirathivat, Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications of Central Group, stated: “For more than 14 years, Central Group has provided opportunities, care, encouragement, and smiles to children by offering gifts and scholarships for New Year's and Children's Day. Despite the fact that the children are far away, we think that gifts are a representation of our support for them. Scholarships can relieve the financial strain on their parents, allowing them to have a better quality of life, while bicycles, school and sports equipment, and toys can help improve skills and learning.”

For the 14th year, Central Group remains working together with the Royal Thai Army and the Equitable Education Fund (EEF) to carry out the "Million Gifts Million Smiles". It is part of the "Central Tham," a Central Group’s sustainability initiative.

Those interested in helping bring smiles to children can join the activity in 3 ways: Pay it Forward, Give it Forward, and Share it Forward. Aside from the pure joy of the receivers, Central Group believes there is happiness among the givers, and there are more than simply heartfelt gifts; there are bright futures for the children.
