“To celebrate our 5th Anniversary, we are offering creativity and happiness as a thank you to our customers for supporting us. So this year, we are proud to present ‘Tilting Forest’, a collaboration of Central Embassy and Snarkitecture. This latest work reflects Central Embassy’s 5th Anniversary campaign, ‘Let Life Inspire You’, illustrating how inspirations are all around us when we open our eyes and minds to the possible possibilities.” says Barom Bhicharnchitr, Managing Director of Central Embassy
‘TILTING FOREST’ invites visitors to explore a landscape of large inflated cones of varying heights. As visitors move through the installation, the objects tilt and sway transforming the environment into a living forest. Meanwhile, spectators on the floors above are presented with a shifting field that rises through the atrium making Tilting Forest a collective experience of colour and play. Outside of Central Embassy, visitors are invited to walk through and underneath an arrangement of sixteen metre inflated cones that are suspended in motion creating a moment of color and intrigue from the street and BTS skytrain, while hinting at the installation inside. The installation offers the endless imagination and inspiration from different points of view, emphasizing Central Embassy’s ‘One Life. Infinite Possibilities’ concept.
Benjamin Porto says “Central Embassy gave us more than enough room to create an immersive experience with the Tilting Forest. The space inside Central Embassy makes this project unique. We knew right from the start it was important for us to create something engaging and memorable, making best use of the natural light and space for everyone to enjoy.”
Benjamin will also explain more on the design and concept of the Tilting Forest at an OPEN TALK – ‘SNARKITECTURE: Not Art/ Not Architecture’ at 3 pmon 4th May, at OPEN HOUSE, Level 6, Central Embassy.

Snarkitecture is a New York-based collaborative design practice established to investigate the boundaries between disciplines. The name is drawn from Lewis Carroll’s The Hunting of The Snark, a poem describing the “impossible voyage of an improbable crew to find an inconceivable creature.” In its search for the unknown, Snarkitecture creates work that includes large-scale projects, installations and objects.
Snarkitecture’s work focuses on the reinterpretation of everyday materials, structures and programs to new and imaginative effect. With a conceptual approach centered on the importance of experience, the studio creates unexpected and memorable moments that invite people to explore and engage with their surroundings.
