CPN invests 40 million baht for “The Great Chinese New Year” celebration along with a unique & modern concept of the Chinese New Year to attract a new generation of dragon-spirit customers.

Central Pattana Public Company Limited (CPN), the Thailand’s largest retail developer managing CentralWorld, CentralPlaza, and CentralFestival, along with their business partners, heavily invested 40 million baht into the Chinese New Year campaign for 2016 named “The Great Chinese New Year”. Using a new and modern concept of the traditional Chinese celebrations in order to attract a new generation of customers. Showcasing traditional art pieces, performances as well as an array of auspicious activities and tips from Master Chang, Tossaporn Sritula, in every CPN shopping centers nationwide from the 5th – 29th of February.

They have more purchasing power, tend to be selective and require a certain standard of quality in the products and services they receive. To satisfy the needs new generation of Thai-Chinese, CPN has decided to heavily invest 40 million baht in the Chinese New Year promotions as well as hosting a list of activities in a new and modern concept. CPN will bring in a new range of modern products and services that will also incorporate traditional and auspicious meaning in them. We also have a promotion going on for every 1,000 baht spent at CPN shopping centers, customers will earn a chance to win a trip to Hong Kong and savor the local Chinese delicacies cooked by Michelin certified chefs. Other prizes also include a gold USB memory card and a digital “AngBao” that customers can use to get discounts in selected retails in our shopping centers. ”

CPN freely invites all customers to visit the exhibition of Chinese traditional art and culture in all 29 shopping outlets nationwide. In CentralPlaza WestGate, the main event will be the exhibition of the world’s largest paper cut art piece with a value of 25 million baht, named the “Two Chinese Saints”, done by MrGao Xiao Dong & his wife, who now have a spot in the Guinness World Record Books. Also, in CentralWorld, it is the first time in Thailand that priceless Chinese artifacts will be showcased for customers to observe and there will also be an event named “Central Bangkok China’s Best 2016”, in cooperation with Central Food Hall, will bring customers products from mainland China. These products include, Premium Seafood Offering Set with King Crab, Lobster and Pomfret. In addition, in CentralFestival EastVille, get ready to be mesmerized by the showcase of lights and sounds as well as the modern decoration of lights in a form of a lion and dragon.
