“Central Group for Royal Family” organises an activity to pay homage and express loyalty to His Majesty the King on the royal coronation ceremony

On the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King’s royal coronation ceremony in 2019, Central Group organised an activity to pay homage and express loyalty in front of His Majesty’s royal portrait. Participants sang the royal anthem at this activity, led by  Suthichai Chirathivat, Chairman of Executive Board at Central Group Company Limited, who presided over the opening ceremony before His Majesty’s royal portrait, joined by executives of Central Group, its subsidiaries, and honourable guests including Supatra Chirathivat, Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs & Social Responsibility, Central Group; Mukda Chirathivat Uawattanakul;  Rattana Chirathivat Norpanlob; Preecha Ekkunagul, Chief Executive Officer of Central Pattana PLC; Thiradej Chirathivat, Director of Central Group; Thirayuth Chirathivat, chief executive officer of Centara Hotels & Resorts; Dr Natthakit Tangpulsintana, Assistant to Marketing Director, Central Pattana PLC; Police Hospital’s Pol Lt-General Witoon Nitiwarangkul, and more than 800 employees who gathered to express their loyalty and gratitude to His Majesty at the square in front of CentralwOrld.

The LCD panel in front of CentralwOrld showed the live broadcast of the royal coronation ceremony via The Television Pool of Thailand for the people of Thailand to witness a significant moment in the nation’s history. Additionally, exhibitions titled “Royal Regalia” and “First Royal Command” were held inside CentralwOrld in both Thai and English to educate the general public. The exhibitions attracted a lot of Thai and foreign visitors. Meanwhile, Joe Louis Traditional Thai Puppet Theatre presented The Legend of Garuda, a special show never performed anywhere else.  Police General Hospital also offered free health check-up services. 


The general public and employees are invited to donate blood for merit making on this auspicious occasion. Those who are interested can join the blood donation activity at any of the 22 participating Central locations until May 31, 2019.
