Barom Bhicharnchitr said “It is the great honour and pleasure for us to be given important awards as this is the regional biggest, trusted and most respected real estate awards programme”
Central Embassy is Bangkok’s premier lifestyle destination located in Central Bangkok. Covering an area of 144,000 square metres, The complex is designed to be an iconic retail landmark which has youthful dynamism and bring a lifestyle-centric approach, with the concept of ‘One Life, Infinite Possibilities’
The building has a total height of 37 floors with an eight-storey retail podium, connected with Park Hyatt Bangkok, a leading luxury hotel, with these two parts of the structure connecting in the shape of an infinity symbol.
The architectural design is the first in Thailand, and is believed to be the first in the world, to incorporate a 3D-type curvature to the front, side and top of the structure. Taking inspiration from the roof of a traditional Thai temple, the building is clad in more than 300,000 aluminium shingles and fitted with over 750 LED lights which shine and twinkle in the sunlight. Because of the curvature of the building, each of the shingles has had to be angled at a specific degree, which presented a significant technical challenge.
Inside, the décor has a white tone like a canvas, creating patterns through the use of curved lines, angles and textures. The height of the podium ceiling enables the use of light and shadow as a design element, while the fittings utilise materials of exceptional quality, such as Corian for dramatic, seamless shapes, and Terrazzo large-scale flooring tiles.
Central Embassy distinguishes itself from competitors with its focus on six pillars, namely fashion, lifestyle and entertainment, dining, art and design, service and facilities, events and promotion. The project offers new experiences through 3 different anchors which are: Eathai,- 3,500 square meters of lifestyle dining offering regional delicacies and famous street food of Thailand, Open House, – 7,000 square meters of co living space concept and Siwilai City Club – 1,200 square meters of social club open to all that provides dining, bar, entertainment, and shopping facilities.
Recognizing the value of cultural splendour of Thailand, Central Embassy represents its elaborated design building by using advanced technology and its perfect integration and merging with Park Hyatt hotels which reflect the civilization of Bangkok including its innovative concepts of development. From the obvious points, these make a result of outstanding property like no other to turn into a unique architectural masterpiece in the heart of Bangkok.
